Ereka Howard is the founder of Identity Revealed Foundation, an adult transracial adoptee, wife, aunt, advocate, and community leader whose life reflects resilience, purpose, and service. While she holds many powerful titles, including educator, clinician, Certified Life Coach, author, public speaker, and mentor, Ereka believes her greatest impact comes from using both her lived and professional experiences to help others recognize their identity, strengths, and possibilities.
Her personal journey has included navigating developmental delays, disabilities, memory challenges, brain injuries, health challenges, trauma, and the complexities of identity and belonging. These experiences have shaped her passion for creating culturally responsive spaces where individuals, families, and communities feel seen, supported, and connected to meaningful resources.
Heritage
From the Mariel boatlift to Identity Crisis.
Ereka is the product of a Cuban immigrant family whose journey to the United States began during the Mariel boatlift. Her international documentary initiative, Identity Crisis, captures a powerful part of her own identity journey as she travels to Cuba and reunites with her biological family, exploring the intersections of adoption, culture, family, heritage, and belonging.
A five-time author and Amazon bestselling author of Identity Crisis, Ereka has transformed her experiences into platforms for education, advocacy, storytelling, and community impact. With more than a decade of experience across child welfare, behavioral health, education, community outreach, mentoring, public speaking, training, consulting, and program development, she has dedicated her career to strengthening people and communities.

Ms. Ereka Howard is no one-dimensional sensation. She is a speaker, co-author, Certified Life Coach, Clinician and Adoptee. Since the precocious age of eight, Ms. Ereka Howard has graced and impacted audiences throughout the nation alongside with her adoptive mother. Ms. Ereka Howard has been recognized as an authority on motivation, peak performance and peer leadership which have made her well respected amongst her community and audience.
Ms. Ereka Howard creates an authentic connection with her audience as they think, laugh, applaud and remain engaged. Due to her ability to relate to and transform people's lives, she is a highly national sought-after speaker. Ms. Ereka Howard displays knowledge, wisdom, and engaging speaking styles riddled with humor and captivating stories which has made her an asset to partnerships and audiences.
After overcoming many hurdles throughout her life, Ms. Ereka Howard now shares her life experiences and teaches the community how to be successful throughout life. Ms. Ereka Howard has dedicated her life to the empowerment of everyone. She is a fresh voice for a new generation. Ms. Ereka Howard has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Ereka is currently working on a Doctorate in Counseling Education and Supervision.
